RISING TEXAS COUNTRY CROONER CLAY HOLLIS INKS DEAL WITH BUDDY LEE ATTRACTIONS, INC.
Rising Texas country singer Clay Hollis has signed a deal with Buddy Lee Attractions,Inc. in Nashville for worldwide booking representation. “We’re looking forward to working with Clay and developing his already strong presence through the rest of Texas and beyond,” says Jimmy Dasher, agent at Buddy Lee Attractions, Inc.
“I am extremely excited to join the Buddy Lee team and work with such a reputable company,” adds Hollis. “I am looking forward to what the future brings for me in the New Year, especially playing for new (and current) fans around the country.”
The San Antonio native is in the midst of promoting his self-titled debut EP. Recorded in Nashville, it features six straightforward, emotionally honest songs including the first single, “Look Who’s Hurting Now,” an anthemic ballad that's powerful beyond his years. The track is steadily moving up the charts sitting at #26 on Week 3 of the Texas Regional Radio Report (TRRR).
For his latest release, Hollis and Mario Flores took the production reins while enlisting some of Nashville’s finest and most sought-after session players including Country Hall-of-Famer Mike Johnson (steel guitar), J.T. Corenflos (lead guitar), Steve Hinson (steel guitar), David LaBruyere (bass), Howard Duck (piano and B3), Billy Panda (acoustic guitar) Paul Scholten (drums) and Russell Terrell (harmonies).
Inspiration from the album was formed by listening to Hollis friends music including CMA Award-winner Jon Pardi and Gabe Garcia, both who are writers on this record. The result is a collection of traditional country music in its purest form with a touch of contemporary grit.
Hollis has already been burning up the road in 2018 with several appearances in Steamboat Springs, CO during The MusicFest. Looking ahead, he's set to play in front of his largest crowds to date with gigs confirmed for the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo and the illustrious Houston Stock Show and Rodeo.
Throughout his short career, Clay has shared the stage with a myriad of country artists including Jerrod Niemann, Joe Nichols, William Michael Morgan, Jake Worthington, Bri Bagwell, Kevin Fowler and Kyle Park. Buddy Lee Attractions, Inc. established in 1964 is one of Nashville’s largest privately owned talent agency. BLA is a full service talent agency and throughout the past 54 years, the agency has developed and represented the biggest names in country music, including George Strait, Willie Nelson, Garth Brooks, the Dixie Chicks, Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line, and many more country music superstars.
